The greatest crisis in the church today is not persecution, It is powerlessness.
It is not that churches are closing. It is that fire is fading.
It is not that the people no longer believe in God. it is that many no longer burn for him.
Churches are full, but altars are empty.
songs are loud, but hearts are silent.
messages are polished, but encounters are rare.
we know scripture, but we lack fire. We are surrounded by christian activity, yet starving for christian authority.
We are busy with programs, but empty of Power.
we have information about God, but Little intimacy with him.
The churches become organized/but not ignited.
And heaven is not impressed by activities without fire.
Having a form godliness but denying its Power. 2 Timothy 3:5
This verse is not describing unbelievers. It is describing people who look spiritual, sound spiritual, and act spiritual/yet live without the Spiritual Power .
